Meet the Team

James is the owner & director of Allen Residential. Having started as a trainee in the estate agency in 1995 James has almost a quarter of a century behind him in the business and has seen lots of change.

"When i first started in estate agency at the tender age of 18 the business was very basic with black & white photography, 'hot client' boxes & a vendor client base making choices on who to use to sell their home based on purely location & selling fee. Since then we have seen the explosion of the internet, email and smart phones & a widening choice of who to use to sell your home & how much to pay.

What i always loved about my job is that i was being paid to talk to people, finding someone a place to live gave me great satisfaction & being paid to do so was at the time a bonus!

Running Allen Residential I have a very clear vision of the area in which we operate & the way in which we sell properties. Having previously worked for a large corporate agency & a high quality Independent I was keen to develop a company that could compete with any & all competitors whilst offering the quality of service known to come from the high quality Independent agencies.  We embrace modern technology & are at the forefront amongst our competitors, having a younger team of course helps us with this; we are constantly praised for our energy & enthusiasm when selling properties for our clients!

Damien is the Sales Manager at Allen Residential and worked for the company since 2005. Originally from Temple Cloud and now living locally again Clutton, having spent 5 years living in central Bristol. He has a great knowledge of the local area and huge experience within estate agenc

Damien is the Sales Manager at Allen Residential and worked for the company since 2005. He has a great knowledge of the local area and huge experience within estate agency, having worked for one of the largest national estate agencies from their flagship office in Clifton, as well as Bath city centre. Damien has now retreated back to enjoying country life with his wife Kelly.
